HOLY GHOST SECONDARY FOR THE DEAF
HOLY GHOST FATHERS
Across the world, studnts with disabilities are seen as having poorer health and lower education performance compared to ordinary students. This is due to the way they are treated by the society around them and also students with disabilities experience barriers in accessing services that many of us have long taken for granted, including health, education, employment, and transport as well as information.
It is from this background, the initiator of Holy Ghost Secondary School for the Deaf incepted the idea of establishing a school with different impairments that will provide secondary Education to all eligible Tanzanian boys only irrespective of their Race, nationality, Religion, or Physical challenges.
That if these students are treated well in school by professional teachers and other non- teaching staff can perform well and raise their academic performance just like the so called normal pupils.
